Biography

Anushka Shetty was born in a Tulu speaking family in Mangalore. She did her schooling and college in Bangalore. She was also a Yoga Instructor and has trained under yoga guru Bharat Thakur. Her debut was with Nagarjuna’s Super. Her first Tamil film was Rendu with R. Madhavan. She has been more successful in the Telugu Film Industry. She also speaks Telugu, Hindi,malayalam and Tamil as well. But she never got a chance to act in a Malayalam movie.
